Located in the deep bay of Aberdeen harbour rests the “Jumbo Kingdom”, made up of two architectural treasures, the Jumbo Floating restaurant and the Tai Pak Floating Restaurant. It has been one of the must-see attractions for travellers over the years, as well as being the set of the film “The God of Cookery” by Stephen Chow.
The “Jumbo Kingdom” is popularly known as being a famous Hong Kong attraction because of its unique location in the sea and serving delicious seafood. As well as being decorated with traditional Chinese palace features, it has become a must-visit place for foreign tourists. Many travel books often mention this beautiful landscape and the fresh seafood, which has made the location accumulate more than 30 million visitors.
On March 2nd 2020, Jumbo Kingdom announced on its official website that it would be closed until further notice, with its staff members laid off due to the coronavirus outbreak.
