The State Theatre, Hong Kong’s only surviving old-style grand theatre, was awarded with a Grade I listing in 2017, but recently, there has been internet speculation that the State Theatre will be demolished very soon.

These colorful light boxes within the quiet State Theatre adds a touch of vitality. Dressed in a traditional white shirt, Auyeung Cheong chose to stay to keep this place alive. He is very talkative, so those who are interested may come to appreciate the lost characters and history of this place.
